RVM Auto Assist offers you a similar replacement vehicle to your own if the accident you have been involved in was not your fault. This vehicle is hired to you for the period of repair and on an extended credit basis which means your liability is extinguished once we recover the hire cost from the blameworthy third party.

We are also 1st tier members of an industry-wide agreement known as the ‘GTA’, which is between Insurers that have subscribed to the ABI (Association of British Insurers) protocol and the Credit Hire industry. This protocol lays down the conditions under which we can offer this extended credit service to you, the driver. It is designed to facilitate the claims process and make it easier for us to make claims directly on the third party Insurer as opposed to claiming through your own policy.

Similarly, if you have a large policy excess, you have no cover for repairs to your own vehicle or your Insurer cannot provide a convenient repair process, RVM Auto Assist will arrange repairs to your vehicle on an extended credit basis under the same protocol (“GTA”) as mentioned above. We will also pursue recovery of any other losses you may have incurred.

RVM Auto Assist supports its customers when they are injured in a non-fault accident by providing access to a panel of specialist solicitors who are experienced in dealing with the symptoms and who can recommend appropriate rehabilitation and of course, negotiate the correct compensation for you.

The solicitors on the approved panel act independently from us and any Insurance Company and will act entirely in your interests. Whilst RVM Auto Assist earns a fee for promoting the services of the panel solicitors, our customers receive 100% of their compensation award.

RVM Auto Assist is regulated by the Ministry of Justice in respect of claims management services, which means the standards under which we process your injury claim are regulated. The regulation requires RVM Auto Assist to act responsibly and with integrity and honesty.

We are further required to observe all laws and regulations and ensure our business shall be directed by people with the necessary competence and that any staff or other people working on our behalf have the necessary training and competence to perform their duties.
